Im going to take a quick shower, and then I'll be doing something exiting! But Jesus says that we should do good things in secret, even though it's a good idea for others to do I might share it later, not sure! Depends!

What every christian should have in her purse!

Purchase (or make if you have the skill :D) a purse
that has long straps! The reason is: most of the time
we have the courage, but the tracts doesn't feel accesible!

Main "room" of the purse: Keep it simple. Get a purse with two or three pockets
this way you can sort out your tracts. Also bring a pen: you never
know when you might need it to write something down like a name
or email adress etc.

If your purse has a outer pocket; I suggest to place things like
dvd's here (I carry two) and other unusual tracts, when I say
unusual, I mean ones that might be for special days
or encounters or to some you would give to a person who made
a decision to repent and trust in Jesus that day! :) Btw; people
rarely reject dvd's!:)

Bring a camera! I had to take a picture of it in the mirror for you to see it!
I have never ended up using this, but if I can think of several times when I wish I had
one with me!

When you have loaded up your favorite purse, put a few in your
other purses as well in case you ever grab them! (I made this purse! :D)

Bring plenty in your jacket! (Yes, that's a tract, not a wallet! :))
This way you don't feel like you have to bring your purse every
time you go out!

This is a must for everyone who owns iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch! Download
the gm28 app! It's totally free. This is helpful when you meet a tourist, or
someone who doesn't speek english or your language, you just select their
language and the app askes questions - you don't have to do anything!
I wish I had it when I went to town a while ago (see my witnessing video where
I talk about him!). It's not my iPod Touch, it's my brothers, I iPod classic. Anyway! :)

Just getting started?
Do you care about other people's salvation? Their eternal destiny? But you still have fear? Im going to give you a few tips!

Start out small; do tracts! You don't even have to give them out, there is plenty of places to put them where people find them. But giving them out is not even that scary, most people take them if they are relevant to the situation, funny or attractive looking! I always recommend livingwaters.com's tracts! (Check out tracts like: million dollar bill, ticket to heaven, 101 of the worlds funniest one liners, door hanger and are you a good person tracts.) I have a video on my youtube where I show my favorites btw if you want some ideas!

The worst that can happen:
The worst that can happen is: they say no thanks! Really, handing out a tract that is funny or cool is not hard. I handed out my first "tract" (it was the gospel according to John) to a military lady who serves America (Im not from there but I thanked her anyway and gave her a tract) It had a camofluage pattern, so she said thanks and it was super easy! I also did it with the flight attendant! I have only had one person give it back, and you can scroll back to my first blogpost to read that story!

Alright, share your faith, it's so easy! And someone might get saved because of your godly decision to hand it out to her\him! God bless you!

Just a day in pictures- Down Town! :)

A few random pictures of the new town house:

Placing gospel tracts in popular or religious books is a great starter tip
for you if you have just purchased them and it's your first time!

A good idea is to go to the religious section, but I don't remember if
I put a tract in or not! Anyway, it was right by the libraran so I was
a little shy, but I think I did it, funny - I can't even remember!

Takin fancy pictures in the mirror? Yep, I was so clean that I had to do it! :)

Another great tip is to place gospel tracts in magazines when you are waiting or
in magazines that are free! :)

So I don't live in the city, but I live very close to one!
And our town just spent about $160,000,000. dollars on the new building I have showed you pictures from. I was going to the dentist this day (two blogposts back) and I decided to visit the building. It's bautiful, but really - $160 million dollars? Atheists are complaining that God isn't feeding the poor, well our atheist Prime minister must not be leaving any money left for God to use! To be fair it's not just a normal building, it is the town mayors office and a soscial meeting place: it has the local library (see pictures above, I put a tract in a book, maybe two I don't remember!) it has the local cinema, it has a cafe, and a few other things. So it's not a useless building, but they could probably have done it a little cheaper? Anyway, I won't be going there a lot since I don't go the movies so much anymore, nor do I use the library unless it's to place gospel messages :) Anyway!

Im heading out pretty soon and going to the city, so I hope you can pray that God will give good encounters and that He will soften the peoples hearts for the gospel. Wanna see something funny-looking?

Here you go!

Is it a dinosaur? An eskimo? No, it's a really really cold girl, walking to her dentist appointment, with an ipod to learn chinese on the way there and sunglasses on to add to the humor (no, not really, it was really bright and a dry "hurting" cold, so I used some of my old sisters sunglasses)! I looked SO funny, but I don't have a lot of good winter clothes, because I usually don't ski and just take the bus or something, but I didn't have money for the bus (edit: I did have money for the bus, but just one bus ride costs 10 dollars, and I am saving money for whenever God wants me to use the money for something more important), so I had to walk for almost 45 minutes fast, anyway! Thank you God that I have a warm blanket and roof over my head!

A funny story - Me in Iceland!

Hey, thought I'd tell a funny story!

Whenever I list contries I have visited, I like including Iceland, even though I only spent a few hours there...Well, actually, I spent MANY hours there on the airport!

Here's the story:
I visited a few friends in America last summer, and on the way there we stopped in Iceland. Just for 1-2 hours. Well, when in America, I realized that I had remembered wrong when ordering the tickets, so on my way back I had to spend 10 hours on the airport in Iceland!. Not planning hotel, visa (if that is nessecary?) and all that stuff - so I had to sleep on the airport! Yes, that was INTERESTING:

A few things that happened:So I arrived at around 11 pm in Reykjavik. A few of the people from New York that was in the same airplane I sat in, rushed to catch the one to France. I knew I had 10 hours(!!) so I didn't rush. I sat next to a couple of yougn adults, and they were talking to each other. They were going to france but a few minutes before they were going to the gate, the guy said something along the lines of: "Well, you look fancy!" I got embarrest, because I was wearing a long pink modest dress, and I knew he couldn't be serious, but he seemed pretty nice. Anyway, I didn't say anything, but I think I gave him a wierd look - what are you supposed to do in a situation like that? Anyway, they left, and I felt bored for a while, I liked listening to those two strangers conversations!

Anyway! I discovered a few seats infront of me, there was a guy who seemed pretty funny looking, he had a long beard kinda dirty clothes and he was sleeping at the bench. On my first flight I had given out my first gospel tract, and I wanted to work up the courage to give one more out, so with that intention I went to the guy (he was probably in his 50's or 60's, and I discovered that the reason he was looking that way was because he had been traveling AROUND THE WORLD! It was very interesting talking to him, don't worry he was totally harmless and a lot of people sat around us. He was french and had a few sons back at home in france. He told me many stories, it was incredible! Anyway, I forgot to give him a tract -I think, but I hope he becomes a christian so that I can meet him in heaven! I hope that about everybody of course!

Then he left to the gate, and the small Rykjavik airport emptied out, and I had like 9 hours left. The funny thing is, it never got dark, it seemed like the sun was up all the time! It took a long time before I got tired. I went around and chatted with a few travelers (maybe a handfull had done the same mistake I did or something) but that was it. I tried listening to some music and drawing, but I guess my sleeping habits from my time in america had not changed. But then, finally, like 4 am I got tired, and I found 2 chairs and put them together, tied my hand to my luggage and slept on top of it!(so that nobody would steel it while I slept)!

After a few hours of sleeping, a few guards key-noices woke me up! And I had to go lay someplace else. I went to the closed cafeteria area, and feel asleep on them. THEN: I woke up and ALL THESE PEOPLE are looking at me! Suddenly the airport was packed with people shopping and waiting in their gates, I was so tired that I didn't really get embarrest (a few other people were doing the same any way), but looking back I am really embarrest! -But I kinda didn't have a choice I guess! I waited for a few more hours and then finally they called all the people to the gate who were going to Norway - Yeyy! :) Then I arrived at nice-smelling Norway! :)

Hope you liked the story, seem scary to sleep at an airport, but it is nothink like JFK or Norfolk or any like that, the iceland one seemed like a little mall with only five people in it. I have been in less ideal situations before! Anyway, created a funny memory!

When I first visited the US, I had to take a picture of your funny handles! They are everywhere! It took a while to get used to the locks, there's no key! You just turn the thing on the round thing the other way, and then it doesn't even make a sound! -It's strange! Anyway! While we are talking about locks, why does your walmarts have a lock if it is open 24/7?

Soup that wants to tickle you!

Don't remember if I was pushing it or chasing it! Probably chasing!

These pictures are from when I was 2,3 or 4 years old(Im not sure, I can't remember!)(Edit: actually neither, probably 1. Im not good at telling what size you are supposed to be at what age!)
They are taken where we used to live, (in the country) before we moved to the city

when I started school. We lived just by the beach and there was beautiful snow-covered
mountains surrounding the sea, God is very creative! :) Go two posts back to see a picture of the
whole town taken from a mountain! :) Anyway, I have many memories from the beach, but never
actually swimming in it. It had so many sea-plants, so it felt like you were walking in soup that wanted to tickle you! Hmm, I actually had soup today, but I didn't walk in it...Anyway! God bless your day! :)

1st-3rd grade (of my life).

My 1st grade picture, from the Christian private school I went to. I don't know why that
sweatshirt was my first pick, or even if it was at all :) I looked up the meaning of the words, but
I don't think mom had a clue what the words ment when she bought it at the local clothing store :) Anyways, random!

ACE used the bible in everything they taught!

After living "in the country" for 5 years, mom and dad had decided to enroll me in public school, so I got a letter from my teacher in the mail of the local public school. But, for several reasons we had to move to the city, so just in the nick of time mom and dad got me into a private Christian school in august. I also got a letter from my teacher, and I still have it. This school was a 24 hour trip (12 hours driving) with the car away from our home in the country, so we obviously had to move :)

The first day of school I remember clearly! I was really nervous, and my yourger sister wanted to join me but she had to wait until next year. I got into the building and the teacher who sent me the letter greated me and my parents. Then mom and dad left and I went down to where our classroom was located. My classmates and the other students greated me very nicely, and we had juice and baked buns. It was wonderful! I also met my first best friend. She was in 2nd grade, and she asked if I wanted to be her best-friend and I said yes! Simple and straight forward, love it! :) She moved away a few years ago, but we still talk. Her name is Sandra!

The Christian school I went to, was one of the few schools, maybe the only one, who ever taught creation science here in Norway (there's no homeschool curriculums here that I know of which teaches creation science). It used the ACE curriculum (the same as the Duggars use for their 1st-3rd graders if you are familiar with them). I was the only girl in 1st grade, and there was 2-3 other boys. But the classes, and the structure of teaching made me feel like I was homeschooled (which I loved). Several classes was put together, like 1st and 2nd grade, 9th and 10th grade etc etc. I loved the first 2 years of that Christian school alot!

The school was a part of a church, which we also attended for a short period of time. The church also owned a Christian-tv-network here in norway, that dad used to work at. Now he works at another one, because it closed, which I will talk about later in this post!

Every Christmas our school did a Christmas play for the community. It was alot of fun. I usually played just as an extra, in the choir or as an angel. Or all! :)

But in 3rd grade the school changed for the worse:

-The leaders and teachers of the school got critisism for teaching everything biblical from the secular newspapers. About things like: creation, how to raise children godly and so on and so forth.

The school changed leaders, new teachers and the building. Even the name a few years later. The ACE curriculum was dropped, and they accepted any and everybody into the school (buddist, muslim, ateist - etc) and started teaching evolution. It went from Godly to very different in just one summer. It was still okay though, because it was better then public school (I tried it in 9th grade and 1st grade of vocational school) but it pretty much felt like I was going to public school with a few Christian teachers. It seems like a sad ending with the story, but out of this, something wonderful still happened:

I did not stop being friends with Sandra, but she was a year older then me, and our classes got separated. Kristina had an older sister, Hanna, so Sandra and Hanna became good friends as well! Remember that me and Kristina didn't look like that in 3rd grade, the pictures above are from 6th grade! :)

The reason I really enjoyed me and Kristinas friendship, was because her father was a pastor, and she was brought up very Godly. The three years she lived here was so wonderful because her family always brought me to church, they were really hospitable (I had my own bed, pj's, toothbrush, pillow and everything over there because me and Kristina was inseperatable)! I don't know if I was a Christian at the time, and that's scary for me. I was confused because I didn't know how to become one, I really wanted to be one but I didn't understand salvation, so I said I was a Christian but if I was or only God knows right now :) But I'll eplain that in a later post. I certainly am right now, because I asked Jesus to save me in december 2010, but my testimony is to complicated(long) for this post! :) But I guess I wanted to tell you about the godly influence I had in my youth, and how even though going to church or a christian school will make your children christian it is certainly leading them to God like it did for me!-Even though the christian school might not save your children, but it will get them to seek the truth like I ended up spending huge parts of my youth(I am still youngh of course, I'll be 18 this year) doing, and Jesus said: "Seek and ye shall find" -So I did! :D Anyway, my testimony later!

1# Future Letter to Myself!

Hi Ina! How are you?

This is me, you, writing! January 25th 2012.

I thought this was a fun idea, so, I'll just go ahead and write whatever pops into my mind.
Right now it is 14:38 (2:38 pm) and you are sitting in the livingroom with your cat next to you. You have just cleaned your room and re-organized your drawer. You are about to go do some hard (and a little boring) math, and english language art, placement tests. You can't remember anything! :) No actually you do - but you learned it all in norwegian, and americans don't use the metric system, nor your language!! :)

Other then that you are writing emails, responding to comments, messages and so on. You ate cheerios for breakfast by the way. Then you read your Bible, a chapter in the Book of Romans, I think 12th chapter, but not sure. :) Your little brother just came in the door!

As for the rest of the day... You have a tonnage to do! So Im going to leave you with this letter now!

First 5 years of my life!

This is the town I grew up in. I think either me or my sis took this picture in
2007 when we visited mother(grandma, we call her that except in
norwegian of course.)

In this blogpost I will be sharing some memories from the first few years of my life, some funny, some random! Hope you enjoy: 15th October 1994 ( a little over 17 years ago) mom gave birth to her first of three children - me! Thank you mom! From the moment at conception I had a soul, and I was going to live for eternity either in heaven or in hell. Isn't that scary to think about? But thankfully I became a Christian 16 years later (2010). Anyway (I always try leaving something spiritual to think about in my blogposts so that everybody thinks about where they spend eternity, I know Im silly!)

Im not going to say what city I was born in, but it was in Norway at a hostpital in the "country". I don't remember of course, but that's what my birt certificate says!

I was famous for dressing up! Don't
know what this is supposed to be though!

15 months after me my sister was born. And 15 months after that my brother was born, he was born with autism, and since daddy worked in a daycare with an autistic child he could sense that my brother was also autistic. He has a severe case, not just "normal" autism like Alber Einstein had. But I'll leave this topic for another blogpost (maybe). :)

My dad was kind enough to always film us three children and take pictures like crazy. Because he knew we would appreciate it later in life! I can't put them up here right now, but I have some funny ones of my mom trying to give me a pacifier. She tried every one we owned, but I always spat them out! It was a hoot! :)

I obviously don't remember my first couple of years very well, but what I do remember is actually laying in the baby stroller and swallowing a gum - believe it or not! :)

I also remember our red two-story house with a potato basement. It was an 150 year old farm that my great grandmother had owned. It had a barn, but we didn't have animals. Me and my sister shared the bedroom in the second story, and our closet was the best part of our room! It went from one wall to the other, we used to make houses and run between all the clothes, a simple joy! I also remember some funny things from when I would go to bed:

-Me and my sister loved (not anymore so much

though) blackberry syrup mixed with water. Dad used to read/tell stories for us so that we would fall asleep, and we had a WHOLE table behind the bed dedicated to blackberry syrup and water in like 5-10 baby bottles! Yeah, normal babies like milk, we liked blackberry syrup!

-Second funny story: I had fallen asleep and daddy woke me up to tell me it was new years eve. New years eve means "nyttårsaften" in norwegian. To the toddler me "nyttårsaften" sounded like the words "den nye saften" which means the new syrup translated from norwegian. So when dad was talking about all the fireworks in different colors - I thought he was talking about blackberry syrup in different colors. Yeah, I wasn't that bright at that time!

I grew up watching bible movies. Those are the best memories from my childhood, they truly are!

Delicious Apple Cake -recipe!

I absolutely love this cake! My family (Mom, dad, sister, brother and me) think this is the best recipe ever! Not very healthy because of all the sugar though! :) But you can use substitutes for some of the stuff if you do not have everything for the sauce etc. Enjoy this picture illustrated blogpost! :D

FRESH APPLE CAKE AND DESSERT SAUCE

4 c. peeled, chopped apples
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
3/4 c. vegetable oil
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl, stir together apples and sugar. Add dry ingredients; stir well. In separate bowl, beat eggs, oil, and vanilla. Stir egg mixture into apple mixture, blending until thoroughly moistened. Stir in pecans. Pour into greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake 50 minutes or until cake springs back when lightly pressed. Serve topped with a scoop of ice cream, then drizzle warm apple dessert sauce over all. (Good without ice cream too.)

APPLE DESSERT SAUCE:

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Place all ingredients in saucepan; stir. Bring to boil over medium high heat and cook 3 minutes. Serve warm over apple cake.

We stood on our own pedal and jumped up and down for 30 minutes on the hardest level! That was fun! But we burned 0 calories the my machine told us. Maybe because we filled in that we were 200 kilos and 3 meter tall. Hmm... Anyways! These are pictures of my friend Hannah comming over a few weeks ago! We've been best friends for 8 years now. I love her so much and she's a sweetheart!

Today… January 19th 2012

Outside my window… Beautiful! Dark but can't see any lights because of the huge cloud! :)

I am thinking… About this wonderful song. Sarah Reight is courting Zach Bates (from the Christian family that has 18 kids and one on the way, not to be mistaken with the Duggars who already has 19 kids and miscarried their 21st, so they have 2 in heaven now). I searched up their family bluegrass band and this wonderful song came up! I love that they dedicate the music to God and that they presented the gospel before they started -I loved it! ;D

I am thankful for… My eyes, ears, mouth, nose, hands, feet and ability to do everyday tasks! Thank you God!

I am wearing… A grey shirt I made two days ago and a floral skirt I made last summer and a headcovering I bought last summer. :)

I am reading… The book of Romans, just finished John.

I am creating…Outfits and a few thing. I might start a quilt again soon after being inspired by the homestead blessings dvd I purchased about quilting from christianbook.com :) I also have several meters of a beautiful purple cotton fabric that I don't know if I want to make a skirt out of or a dress because it is so pretty! :) the proverbs 31 woman is clothed in purple remember? So I kept that in mind while looking for fabric in the store, I used to wear purple all the time! It's a pretty color!

One of my favorite things… At the moment: The song above!

For education this week… Nothing :)

A keeper at home skill I am using/learning… to make several dishes at the time and keeping everything un-burned! :)

A spiritual lesson I’m learning… Seeming more confident speaking to strangers about the good news of Jesus Christ!

A godly character trait I plan to work on… Disiplinging myself.

Scripture I am memorizing… Scriptures about modesty since I have been asked alot on my youtube about it lately. Other then that I try memorizing the things I read in my daily reading, if I can't remember it exactly I try to at least remember what book and chapter it is in and what it says.

I am praying for… My sisters salvation. future husband. That my dad will be a good leader for our family. That God will bring up evangelists. And that my friend (who just started public "vocational" school) will not be discouraged by all the evolutionary thinking there, even though she have heard it all her life in the christian private school she and I went to. +++several other things :)

For the rest of the week… So much to be done! :) How about you?

Duggar hair without the perm-part!

How to:
Take a shower without conditioner, shampoo only! And wait until hair is almost dry, to the point where it is just cold because of the moisture but you can't feel that is is damp. Part your hair the way you like it. Do not comb it! Because if you have hair like me that is pretty straight, then you won't get this texture. Turn your head upside down and put in hair mousse by scrunching it at the same time. Then divide your hair into about 5 sections evenly over your whole head. With each section: scrunch your hair up in a bun really tight and then put it in a hair tie. It is not comfterable to sleep in, so I would suggest to do this a few hours before you are considering to wear this look. But if you want to sleep on it you can do 1 or 2 fish braids and take it out the next morning. Then you are done! Hair spray if you want to but I didn't do it! :)

But remember: Don't let your adornment be outside only, but focus on the inside -then comes outside! "Charm is decaptive and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.(from proverbs 31:35)"

If you follow my youtube, (youtube.com/imdigginjesus) you know that I have a conviction to wear a headcovering. It is very simple, but some people tend to make something so simple and beautiful in Gods word to: "you can't do this and you cant do that and if you don't do it the way Im saying it then you are not saved..."-That's horrible! What am I talking about? Well, I am talking about the basics about a headcovering. It is SO simple- So we know from 2 timothy:

"All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work." 2 Timothy 3:16-1So, I just thought that I'd share a little more about 1 Corinthians 11 (where headcoverings are talked about.)

This is headcovering explained real easy:
1.Cover when you pray and profecy, if you are female, don't cover when you pray or profecy if you are male.
2.It is a headcovering, not a haircovering. As some are tricking you into thinking. You are simply asked to put on a vail when you pray(and/or if you profecy), why? Well because:
3. You do it to honor the headship (God, Jesus,Husband/man, Wife/woman).
4.It is a sign for angels.

-That's it! You are not requred to wear it all the time, BUT you are told to pray without ceasing in thessalonians, so basically don't go for long periods of time without praying. We see Godly people in the scriptures praying at least three times a day, so that can be a good tempelate.

That is why it is okay for you to not wear it all the time!

I study this issue alot. Because I want to do what God tells me to do -but I do not want to accept false teaching. Because if by others definition I am reqired to cover all the time, then men should never wear a hat. Because that would also be violating the scripture by their own conclusions. And if I was required to cover my hair, then why did Mary wash Jesus' feet with her hair? Guys, come on! Stop ruining something so simple and make it a big deal! If you want to cover all the time I support you a hundred prosent, I have just found it much more joyful to not feel like I have to do it in every situation I am in, examples: when witnessing, in the shower, when I can't pray anyway because I can't multitask that easy. But, I always put it on when praying or when I think I will be praying. I wear it mostly through out the day.

I have discussed this with my sisters in Christ, because iron sharpens iron, so note that I am not the only headcoverin youtuber who believes this way! :) I know you're not used to me writing "teachings" that's just because I know teachers will be judged more strictly and I abstain from them if I am not clear on a subject, but I guess this one just needed to be said!

Today… December 23rd, 2011

Outside my window… It is very dark and about 4:30 pm. Some snow, but mostly melted. Very slippery ice and a lot of people are doing late Christmas shopping.

I am thinking… That it is Christmas tomorrow (here we start Christmas at the 24th instead of the 25th.) And that I might go get some candy! :D

I am thankful for… Jesus, my new elliptical machine (that I have used a couple of times, don´t know if I´ll be using it over Christmas, haha!) And all my things like cellphone, computer, kindle, two cameras and savings! I feel so blessed that I feel guilty. Don´t like that feeling!

I am wearing… My dads shirt, pink sweatpants (I mostly wear skirts on a regular basis, like 99 present of the time) but just happened to put them on today.

I am reading… Proverbs. Courting trouble (Im using way to long on that book, don´t know if I like it that much after all.) And a few other I have started on my Kindle.

I am creating… A lot of pot holders, skirts and other cool stuff to put up in my etsy shop.

One of my favorite things… At the moment: The way of the master radio podcasts at my iPod.

For education this week… Nothing :)

A keeper at home skill I am using/learning… sewing, quilting :)

A spiritual lesson I’m learning… Patience.

A godly character trait I plan to work on… A meek and quiet spirit.

Scripture I am memorizing… Im listening to a scripture cd on my ipod, so Im very easily remembering scripture! Forgot it's name, but there is plenty of them out there! you should try it!

I am praying for… My sisters salvation. Please pray that God will save her from hell. It terrifies me everyday! Let me know if you have any unsaved family members you need to pray for. This is serious business for every unsaved person! Lets pray for them together!

For the rest of the week… Hannah (my best friend) is coming over, haven´t seen her in a few months because she is in pre-college/vocational school, so she is busy with that! :) I have to shop for another gift for my sister and ... think that´s it! :)

Hey Guys!

As for now, I haven't told my subsribers at youtube(imdigginjesus) that I have this blog. But when I do I guess they will read this :)

I did an interview with Thehealthwatchman on youtube about headcovering and modesty that will be up on his channel soon. But I just thought I'd post a picture here showing you that I did makeup for a year. I will talk more about it in a video where I will show my professional portfolio, but as for now I'll give you a "sneak peak" -the picture above. I know Im young and you probably have a lot of questions if you know me and watch my youtube, so thats why Im going to make a video talking about it! :) Talking about how drastically my view on makeup and beauty changed after I got saved :)

Shabbat Shalom guys :D The Sabbath starts around 4 pm on fridays here, and ends 4 pm on saturday! Love the day of rest!
Im making some stuff for my >etsy store<. And it's very fun! I've made skirts, shirts, potholders and other things, that I will soon put up! I have also made a couple of videos to put up on my >youtube<, so they will be up soon as well!
I had to go to the mall the day before yesterday because I was out of some material, I went ahead and purchased it and then got home and figured out I got my numbers wrong and needed double of what I had purchased. So I guess Im heading back once the sabbath is over today at 4 pm :)

The remote controls for the tv are burried in my material!

I know how to sew and quilt, but mostly just the basics, so I am hoping this video can act as an resource I can use when I forget how something is done, that way I won´t have to research to much online :) And I love that the West ladies are christians anyway, they have such a warm spirit!

Hey! I have these pictures on my memory-stick-thing, so I thought I'd just post them here now that I have them available! These are pictures from when I visited a few of my friends in Virgina Beach and North Carolina last summer (around the time I made my first video on youtube btw!). Hope you enjoy! :D

A mini-golf course I went to with my friends. I know, I sound silly, but I had never played mini-golf before, only regular at a place I used to work that had golf simulators. So it was fun!

Went to see the wright brothers memorial, it's kinda cool that they were christians, might meet them in heaven one day, if they didn't fly somewhere else that is! Haha, now Im just being silly!

I love traveling, I have been to 11 countries these last 3 years of my life, so Im so blessed that I feel guilty. But most of them were short term mission trips or trips in europe (a european traveling in europe is like an american traveling in a big america, if that made any sense, example: france is an hour away, so is britain and several other contries. And Sweden and danmark are even closer, so europe is not that big! :))

A Young Maiden's Daybook #1

Today… December 13, 2011

I thought I would hop on this "trend" and do the young maiden's daybook once a week! Sorry that I haven't blogged in a week - As you know I don't own a computer, but I will be getting one for Christmas from my sister! -Yeey! Well actually, it's from my dad, but it used to be my sisters old computer, so Im exited! Anyway, here we go!

Outside my window… It is evening (soon 8 pm) pitch dark, cloudy, and our town is putting their lights on so we have a beautiful view!

I am thinking… the pizza rools that I just baked, all the things I have to do this week and how wonderful life is with God!

I am thankful for… My christian parents, salvation, that I have food everyday, that I have my own room, that I can afford christmas presents, and a multitude of other things!

I am wearing… A red cardigan, a pink shirt, and my apron. Well Im wearing more than that of course!

I am reading… I just finished today the book "Before you meet prince charming" by Sarah Mally, it's a great book if you want to learn about how to stay completely pure before you get married!

I am creating… A lot of pot holders, skirts and other cool stuff to put up in my etsy shop.

One of my favorite things… At the moment: Reading, getting to know the King of Kings, sewing, cooking, seeing what God has in store for my future!

For education this week… I graduated obligatory (is that a word?) school in 10th grade, so any education beyond that is optional here in Norway, I have currently chosen not to, because my only option is 4 aditional years of public school. I went to a christian school for 10 years, and the first few years, the school was a ACE school (A christian consercative curriculum, the duggars are using it for their 1st-3rd graders if Im not mistaken), but then the school got critizism, so they got a public school curriculum, and long story short I basically felt like I was going to a public school with chirstian teachers for 8 years. Anyway, my point is, that I can't do homeschooling (like ACE) here, it's only counted as valid education for 1st-10th graders, because beyond that is vocational school and college, so Im done with the obligatory(again, is that a word? ) school for now. Don't know what Im going to do. Please pray for me!

Get somethings done online like ordering christmas presents, answering comments and messages on youtube, respond to emails, send Kent Hovind a few pictures he asked me for, buy more tracts, and try out our new elliptical machine.. And that's about half of my hectic life right now!

Blemishes - Tips and my experience

My experience:I really struggeled with my apperance when I finished 10th grade. (2 years ago) Because I was not born again at that time and I didn't have that biblical view of beauty. The bible says in Proverbs 31:30:

So now that I know God doesn't look at outward appearance, that is comforting when dealing with anything beauty related! So hope that comforts you as well!

But now to some practical tips!
1. Are you getting enough sleep? Your sleep is supposed to be the time for your body to get rid of everything that is not supposed to be there, so if you're sleeping less than 7-9 hours, that can be a problem for your body to get rid of acne!
2. Are you stressing a lot? Are you putting ten things on the to-do list? Are you a yes-woman? I don't know why stress causes the skin to break out, but it does. And when I was graduating from 10th grade my stress level was as high as the sky. So saying no to things is okay! I know how hard it is to say no, and I am not good at it either, but try and see if it helps to reschedule some things in your day-day life.
3. Are you using to many products? When I first started getting winter-acne, my first mistake was falling into this problem. I used to many chemicals and washers and lotions. -They don't help! Not even the stuff the doctor gives you! The best thing to do is to be gentle with your skin. Try washing only with air-temperatured water, and a soft towel every other day and not the days you take showers.
4. Are you touching your face alot? This is an obvious no no. During a day out you probably get millions of bacterias on your hands - touching money, car handles, your purse, your computer, food, doors, bathroom seats, petting dogs - Everything that has bacteria on it! And then you touch your acne-prone skin! I know, I am guilty of this too! But try not touching your face to often!

5. Are you changing your pillowcases often enough? I heard that it's best for people who want to get rid of blemishes to change the pillowcase every other day or something. Im not that strict with myself, to do it every other day, but this can really help!

6.Is your hair in the way? Your hairs has a lot of of natural and/or products in it if you use that. And so I notice that when I put my hair up it helps a little.
7.Eat less dairy. I honestly haven't tried this one yet, but I will probably once Im not so addicted to chocolatemilk anymore!

Alright, so that was my tips for you! Hope they help you out ladies!

I love taking before and after pics, it is "rewarding" to see the difference when you have spent hours doing something that needed to be done! I love cleaning when I first get around to it, but like we all know it is hard to tell yourself to do it when you'd rather do almost anything else! Anyways, here you go:

Warning: This is not a pretty post. No, well, I don't know. I'll let you be the judge!

Okay, so here's what happened. This was actually not today, but a few days ago! Our caravan does not have an "attached toilet" but just a portable beige one. I was putting it in our storage shed next to our house, and since we have already gotten snow I thought I'd take out the water so it wouldn't freeze. Well, turns out it wasn't JUST water, but also soap and ACID!

And I got it on my arm, and this is how my arm looked for days:
(ignore my incredibly pale skin, I have the tendency to get very tan in the summer, and then blend in with the snow in the winter!)

How are you this beautiful evening (well, it's evening here anyway, probably early afternoon in america! My dream "job" would be a homemaker. But for that part - you kinda need a husband or at least children. So since Im not married, not do I think I will be in the near future, Im practicing some skills I need to have (if God has planned for me to get married, which like everyone:I hope he does.) Anyway! FUNNY STORY: This first one is of my cat Bagera. She is named Bagera (Which is the Norwegian version of the english name Bagheera - the name of the black panther in the 1967 disney movie "The jungle book".) We though she was a boy, that's why she got that name, but when she has kids we sorta figured out she was a girl! Haha!

FUNNY STORY #2: This second drawing is supposed to show me and my best friend (Hannah) doing gymnastics. We used to do this together when we were like 11, 12 years old. It was fun! Anyway, we also went to a christian private school together for 6 years, - so in 2009 I was in 9th grade and our desks were right beside each other, so we would sketch drawings and pass them on to each other in class, we would color and put on patterns, and after an hour or two we woud come up with this:

We have two female cats, Pusy (which means pretty much just "cat" in Norwegian), and Bagera! Mother and daughter! They have had several kittens each since they were born, but those are given away to neighbours, because taking care of what would be 15 cats is not a very pleasing thought for my mom! Which I fully understand! They are almost 10 years both of them, and we love them very much! Here´s a few pictures and a video:

I love dressing modest! It´s so freeing to be able to follow scripture. I mostly wear skirts, but I also wear pants when im only going to stay home that day, when I am sleeping (pj´s) or under skirts in the winter.

"And I want women to be modest in their appearance. They should wear decent and appropriate clothing and not draw attention to themselves by the way they fix their hair or by wearing gold or pearls or expensive clothes. - 1 Timothy 2:9 NLT "

I just made this in picnik.
It made me think about seminars from Kent Hovind. Go to drdino.com, and click media. It talks about why evolution is stupid. The seminars changed my life, God gave them to me in just the right time. I even just ordered a dvd called "Why evolution is stupid". And since there's no copyright, we are encouraged to hand them out, so I copied 100 dvd's and I will hand them out somehow.

I was handing out tracts the other day, a lady came up and took one tract, stood right beside me for two whole minutes and read it while I continued on handing more out, when she was finished reading she handed it back to me with an agry attitude (probably proove a point that she didn't like the message on the tract), to some that might feel discouraging, but to me that was great: she read the gospel -AND she gave back the tract so that one more that day could read the gospel :) It just showes how God can use small discouraging things and turn it around to something good:)
